Mitch Hewer’s role in Britannia and new pics!

 

 

SKINS star Mitch Hewer has his hands full as he grabs a girl in the show dubbed ‘The New Fame’.

Mitch, 19, was filming Britannia High in Manchester with Tracey Beaker star Georgina Hagen.

The ITV1 show — based in a performing arts school like 1980s classic Fame — also features contributions from Strictly Come Dancing’s Arlene Phillips and Take That’s Gary Barlow.

Brace yourselves for a shock… actually, it might be wise to pop that cup of tea down… right, are you sitting comfortably? OK, we’ll tell you now… the lad on the left is Mitch Hewer. Mitch Hewer from Skins. Yup, thats Mitch Hewer. He’s gone curly for his role in ITV1’s new musical drama Britannia High, due later this year.

You know, maybe it’s going to take time to get used to. Perhaps the curls will look less spaghetti-like when we see them bouncing around on screen. And, let’s be honest, we won’t care what Mitch’s hair looks like during his inevitable shirtless scenes.
