She explains why it took two entire films for singing jock Troy Bolton (Efron) and crooning mathlete Gabriella Montez (Hudgens) to finally lock lips on-screen. The Tizz shared, “The Disney Channel has done movies where the guy and girl kiss, but Kenny thought it would be really nice if you didn’t actually see that. It left fans saying, ‘Wait, we have to see them kiss!’ ”

The motion picture soundtrack will be released on Tuesday, October 21. The second song off the soundtrack, “High School Musical”, will debut on the Disney Channel next Friday, August 8.
