David Archuleta Has A Crush On You

 

Former American Idol contestant David Archuleta debuts his new single “Crush” with Elvis Duran and the Morning Show at Z100 studios in New York City on Friday morning. He was accompanied by his manager father Jeff.

The chorus goes, “Do you ever think, when you’re all alone, all that we can be, where this thing can go? Am I crazy or falling in love, is it really just another crush?”

David Archuleta: Wall-E Idol!

 American Idol alum David Archuleta arrives at the world premiere of Disney-Pixar’s film Wall-E, held at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles on Friday.

The 17-year-old singer will be hitting the American Idols Live! Tour this summer and his dad Jeff will be on the tour bus with his son and the other top five guys! David’s dad was banned from going backstage during the final weeks of American Idol amidst some controversy. Fellow American Idol Carly Smithson recently asked Michael Johns if anyone on the guy’s bus snores and he responded to David, “Only your dad!”.

The American Idol Live! Tour 2008 kicks off on July 1 in Glendale, Ariz., hometown of AI alum Brooke White.

 

David Archuleta Signs Record Deal!

 American Idol sensation David Archuleta has signed to 19 Recordings/Jive Records and is expected to release his debut album later this year.

“Signing a record contract with 19 Recordings/Jive Records is truly a dream come true,” states Archuleta. “Being a fan of American Idol since season one and admiring the alumni, I am honored and humbled to be a part of that group. I’m really excited to start working on everything.”

Simon Fuller, creator of the popular TV series and chief executive and founder of 19 Entertainment Label Group, adds, “It was fascinating to watch David’s journey through Idol. He is a genuine pop star, and is a gifted singer who instantly won over a huge audience when he first appeared on the show. Since then, he has dealt with the pressure and the high level of expectation with real fortitude; he’s given us some of the best performances of the season. Without question David Archuleta has a great future ahead of him”.

Tom Carrabba, Executive Vice President and General Manager, Jive/Zomba Label Group comments, “David Archuleta has already shown the world that he is a star. He’s a young, talented singer with wide appeal and we’re thrilled to have him join our roster.”

Archuleta, 17, was the runner-up on the current season of Idol and is currently gearing up for the upcoming Idol tour, which kicks off on July 1st in Glendale, AZ.

WHat???? David Cook won?? How can this be??? David Archuleta should have won!!! NO!!!!!! I am completely shocked and am sad!! toatally!!Why god?? Why?? WHy are you doing this to me..to us!! But David Cook wasn’t bad too!! But again, i think DAvid A. should’ve won!!
